The Senior Section is the section of Girlguiding UK for young women aged 14 to 26. You can become a member of the section any time on or after your 14th birthday, and your membership ends on your 26th birthday. Unlike other sections of Girlguiding UK, there are lots of ways that you can be a member of this section.

You could become a: Ranger, Young Leader, Member of a Look Wider Group, Lone Senior Section Member, In4mer, Appointment Holder, Member of the Trefoil Guild, Member of Senior Section participating in the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme.

You might just fit one of these categories, or you might fit many! Either way, you’re still a member of the Senior Section and you can take advantage of the countless opportunities that this brings, from representing Girlguiding Essex West at conferences, exhibitions and camps to starting your Queen’s Guide Award.
