Adventure 100 - In the Dark/Nocturnal Animals
Maria from West Horndon Rainbows, Brownies & Guides is a volunteer with the RSPB - County Youth Officer. She has spokent with the education team at Wat Tyler County Park about the Adventure 100 - In the Dark/Nocturnal Animals challenge in terms of what activities might be available through them/with their support. They suggested the following which may be of interest to units. • Bat Watch, the RSPB can provide bat detectors. Ideally May/June time. If the units are near park/woodland there is a good likelihood of finding bats espectially if near water. • Wormeries • Badger watch/feeding in Benfleet. They're happy to attend unit meetings, or arrange something at Wat Tyler County Park and will do evenings (i.e. after closing time) by appointment. Please contact Maria if your unit is interested. .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)
