"Star of Merit" - Congratulations to Tilly, a Brownie in East District who has recently been awarded the prestigious Star of Merit Award for courage and bravery. In November a presentation evening was held at a Brownie meeting when Linda Taylor presented Tilly with the Award in front of her family and many local Guiding friends. We think this is the first Star of Merit to be received by anyone in Brentwood and the first in Essex West for several years. Many congratulaions Tilly.
