Anna Johns – Harlow
Division Commissioner
I started my guiding journey as a 7 year old Brownies in Hertfordshire where my Mum was Brown Owl and my Dad ran the cub pack and because this I have been at a number of cub camps since the age of 6 months.
I went on to Guides and volunteered as a Young Leader. I then took over the Guide Unit when I turned 18.
After a short break, I had a my daughter and decided I wanted to get back into guiding as a way to meet new people and started helping out at Rainbows. We have now re-opened the Brownie Unit after COVID
I have now taken on the role as Divsion Comissioner for Harlow to support the units and Leaders in the area. I really enjoy working with the girls and seeing how their confidence and shyness grow. Seeing all the hard work they put in to gain their badges.
